The Freddies are prestigious medical and health media awards sponsored by MediMedia. Corporations such as Home Box Office, NBC, CNN, ABC, the American Red Cross, Johnston and Johnston, and the Harvard Medical School all submit videos to the Freddies annually in hopes of winning one of the celebrated awards; True Guts won two: a Freddie for the best entry in the Inflammatory Diseases category, and a Founder's Award for Best Educational Video.
